The US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced an ambitious plan to modernize the country’s air traffic control system, which in some cases still relies on technology from the 1970s, 1980s and even 1990s, including computers running Windows 95 and floppy disks.

Τα #κάλαντα του Νικηφόρου Λύτρα. Πίνακας του 1872 που αποτυπώνει ξεκάθαρα την επέλαση του ΠΟΛΥΦΥΛΕΤΙΚΟΥ Ρωμέικου επι της Πατρώας γης των Ελλήνων. Δεν πρόκειται για μια απλή απεικόνιση ενός εθίμου, αλλά για ένα συμβολικό έργο με επίκεντρο πέντε παιδιά #Rumlar (Ρωμιούς) διαφορετικής καταγωγής κι εθνικότητας ντυμένα με παραδοσιακά ενδύματα της εποχής να λένε τα κάλαντα.
Στην σκιά της πανσελήνου ένα ξεραμένο - δεμένο σε υποστύλωμα δέντρο με έναν ακόμα νεαρό -πιθανόν τουρκόγυφτο μιγά- που παίρνει μάτι τα δρώμενα. Εκ δεξιών μια μάνα που κρατά αγκαλιά το νόθο μέλλον, ενώ -διόλου τυχαία- κάτω δεξιά, δίπλα σε ένα φροκάλι (που συμβολίζει τα σκουπίδια) βρίσκεται παραπεταμένο αρχαιοελληνικό άγαλμα που παραπέμπει στην Νίκη της Σαμοθράκης.
Στο επίκεντρο του πίνακα ξεχωρίζει ο πιο χαρούμενος όλων, το ρωμιοκατσίβελο τυμπανιστής (που μέχρι και σήμερα ακόμα διατηρεί την δική του γλώσσα), πρόσωπο σύμβολο του μαχαλά της (β)Ρωμηοσύνης. Αυτής της ενσάρκωσης της Καραγκιοζίας επι της γης.

Διευκρίνηση για τους αδαείς: Ο όρος Ρωμιός ή Rumlar υποδηλώνει ΥΠΗΚΟΟΤΗΤΑ και όχι εθνοφυλετική καταγωγή.
